Maple Leaf GSAR Marathon Watch Company Ltd

Marathon Maple Leaf GSAR

My favourite wrist watch this spring.  Marathon Maple Leaf GSAR.  I put the original Tissot  T-touch on the shelf and have been sporting this rugged “tool-watch” Paddle boarding and on Rappel fires in Alaska.  Limited to 500 pieces and very few available to the public, this particular style with the Maple Leaf at 1200 was commissioned for the Canadian Search and Rescue Technicians.  Hunt it down on the web.  Canadian company, manufactured in Switzerland.  I have a  Maratac Nato strap in black to keep it on.  Not the most exclusive or expensive watch out there but the best I could afford.  Completely geeking out on the GTLS tritium tube luminosity…no need to charge it with a light to see the time.  Enjoy.

  1. i have this watch, it really is amazing. it takes a beating and doesn’t show it. The Tritium is a torch
and it looks like a million bucks.
